Bowie
At 69 and just after releasing his 25th album which we just started listening to and enjoying over here, Bowie passes and it just does not feel real at all. For those that didn’t really know a lot of his music, well, as you can imagine it was inventive and brilliant and covers of his music are also incredible, from The Sea and Cake’s cover of ‘Sound and Vision’ to Nirvana’s cover of “The Man Who Sold The World” and Seu Jorge’s covers of the entire Ziggy Stardust album. He will be missed, but never forgotten!
