The Examiner premieres ‘Be My Marilyn’, Bonhom’s music video for their dream-like outro to their debut album, ‘Sex War’.
With Bonhom’s new album, Sex War, out today, the two defy genres and labels as they blend elements of folk, pop, hip hop, edm and rock into the unmistakable sound of Bonhom.
Here’s what The Examiner had to say: “I always love when artists drop by Examiner.com to debut their new music videos.
Today, I am very excited to introduce you to super duo Bonhom!
Bonhom is the latest dream-pop project from two superb musical masterminds: singer-songwriter James Coleman and DJ-producer-songwriter Diwon.
“Be My Marilyn” is their latest single from their first album: Sex War!
Bonhom blended and sprinkled multiple musical genres including pop, rock and EDM elements on their 13 tracks and also drew inspiration from Bjork and Depeche Mode. Listeners will be able to hear their twists on their favorite artists in several tracks such as “Top of the World,” “Live for Now” and “Animal.” In addition, Bonham collaborated with Sami Freeman on their first duet: “Your Eyes.”
