Check out Cobe Jones’ first single. The rap track is produced by Diwon who’s since produced a slew of singles for Jones which will find its way on his forthcoming EP. The Los Angeles native is unassuming in his demeanor but on the mic becomes a cross between Kanye and Slug with braggadocio and ease that’s generally reserved for rappers 10 years his senior. Jones bridges the more raw sounds of the West Coast with the serene-yet-loony vibes of Venice Beach and LA city living. ‘Take ‘Em Out’ tells the listener what Jones is about while mixing in boastfulness about what his skills can bring him, like your sister. The chorus came to him during a freestyle battle in Israel around the same time that the producer, Diwon, sent him the beat. This is the first single from a forthcoming debut EP which will find more singles and videos dropped before it’s official release date is announced.
